Cookie Policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
Nomead stores only what it needs to run: your sign-in, a few remembered choices, and Razorpay's checkout when you pay. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies today, and there are no third-party trackers on the Service. You can Accept or Decline on our notice; today that only records your choice, and if we ever add optional analytics they will only run after you accept.
This page explains what is stored on your device when you use nomead.app and book.nomead.app. It is part of our Privacy Policy. "Cookies" here also means similar browser storage, such as local storage and session storage.
1. What we store
| Category | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Your sign-in session (Supabase Auth), kept in your browser's local storage on book.nomead.app. | Keeps you signed in and lets the app act as you. |
| Essential | For staff accounts, the extra two-step verification (authenticator code) level of the sign-in session. | Protects the admin side. It is part of the session and ends with it. |
| Essential | Small choices on your device: that you closed the "Open in the Nomead app" banner (local storage), that the app has already tried to open (session storage), and your Accept or Decline choice on this cookie notice (local storage, with the date and the notice version). | So we do not show the same thing again and again. |
| Essential | Razorpay's own cookies and scripts, loaded only when you pay. | Takes your payment. Set and controlled by Razorpay under its privacy policy. |
| Analytics and advertising | Not used. | We do not use them today. If we add optional analytics, they will only run after you accept. |
Your recent searches are not stored in your browser. They are saved on your account in our database and can be cleared in the app.
2. Your choice: Accept or Decline
Our notice has two equal buttons, Accept and Decline. Your choice is stored on your device and the notice does not show again until you reopen it with "Cookie settings" or the notice version changes.
- Decline: we use only what is needed to run Nomead, your sign-in session and your choices; no tracking.
- Accept: the same today. If we ever add optional analytics, they will only run after you accept.
Today the choice changes nothing except being recorded, because we have no optional storage, analytics or advertising to switch on or off. Essential storage (your sign-in session, staff two-step verification, your choice itself, and Razorpay's checkout when you pay) is always on and cannot be declined, because the Service needs it. If you block storage in your browser, you will not be able to stay signed in, and the notice may show on each visit.
3. The admin side
Nomead staff sign in with extra two-step verification. Actions taken by administrators and moderators, and which personal data an administrator views (such as names, email addresses and booking history), are recorded in an audit trail for security. Moderators can only review gyms and photos. Usage figures that administrators see, such as bookings and sign-ups, are counted from Nomead's own database. They do not come from cookies or third-party trackers.
4. Managing storage
- Change your choice: use "Cookie settings" in the footer of nomead.app, then Accept or Decline again.
- Remove what is stored: sign out of the app, or clear site data for nomead.app and book.nomead.app in your browser settings. Razorpay's cookies are cleared the same way.
- Changes: if the storage we use changes, the notice version changes and you are asked to choose again.
